- What type of yoga experience is required?
- No experience is required to enjoy Seeds of Yoga Retreat.
- What style of yoga is it?
- Our style is Astanga-based, Vinyasa flow Yoga.
- Do I need to bring my yoga mat?
- Yes, please. As well as any props that you like using in a yoga class. We will have extra mats, blocks and straps available.
- Do I need a visa to go to Costa Rica?
- Not if you are coming from the US, Canada, the UK or other countries in Western Europe.
All you need is a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel.
- Where do I fly to?
- You will fly to Juan Santa Maria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica.
We will pick you up from the airport to go to the farm.
- Do I need shots?
- There are no vaccinations needed to enter Costa Rica.
- Do I need to take Malaria pills?
- No, there are no mosquitoes in this part of the country.
- Is the water safe to drink?
- Yes, the water is safe to drink everywhere at the farm, and usually in all of Costa Rica.
- Do I need extra money?
- Just the money you want to use to buy
something in the village or if you want to use public or private
transportation to visit the country.
- What should I pack?
- For yoga classes, bring loose, comfortable clothes.
For volunteering, bring clothes that you do not mind getting dirty:
t-shirts and light pants are perfect for working. Bring shorts, light
sweaters and walking shoes. Pack a light raincoat, just in case and
bring sunscreen.
- What is the weather like in March?
- Sunny. Temperatures vary from 68° Fahrenheit (20° Celsius) in the morning to 83° Fahrenheit (30° Celsius).
